Paula was a bit scared of the gym and with Lynne’s exercises, she achieves her goals.
This is a clear example of how important good personal and exclusive training is for health.
Alanis White learned about make-up and how to be healthy from the inside.
I made the decision to attend Lynne Scott’s workshop after hearing about it from a friend. It was the best idea I have had in a long time. Lynne has a wide range of things to offer during this course, she talked to me about how to style my hair for work, how to shape my eyebrows and make them look longer, Lynne also showed me some very useful stretches and exercise movement to help shape certain parts of my body, on top of all this Lynne also taught me some amazing tips on healthy eating and how to look after my body.Lynne is the only place I have heard of where you can learn the full package which most girls our age and younger look for these days.I personally believe that this course would be a great idea for any young girl who is not confident within her self, who’s wants to feel and look great without taking any un-natural products which I know a lot of young girls do nowadays to feel beautiful about themselves.
Kind Regards-
Alannis White
I started to feel more awake and more confident.
I started personal training with Lynne in August 2017. Before I went to personal training, I was afraid to go out in public without a jacket and long pants and never had a lot of self-confidence. As soon as I started attending personal training, I found that I started to feel more awake and more confident. Lynne allowed me to feel comfortable to talk about what has been troubling me. I slowly began to feel better within myself and I’ve definitely lost weight, I feel fitter and better about myself, both inside and out. I am now able to walk out in public and stand tall instead of walking with my back slumped. The things I enjoy the most about the class is how easy it is to start a conversation with Lynne, and how there is and are no negative vibes during the class, I love how I can complete the tasks at a steady pace and be able to communicate with the trainer. Some days when I come back from school, I think to myself, do I really want to go? But as soon as I come back from training I am glad that I did because I feel so much better. Lynne has taught me a lot about nutrition and has always been full of praise and compliments on the effort I put into my training sessions. Lynne definitely helps with increasing my mood, as she is easy to talk to.
I love my classes with Lynne
My name is Madi I am 10 years old, I first met Lynne when my mum Tania was going to her for one on one gym classes in the school holidays and I had to go with her. Lynne was very friendly and fun, I liked her helping my mum. I used to get nervous and very shy around people and had no confidence at school, I did not like the way my tummy looked and I didn’t like people looking at it and always tried to hide it. So my mum asked if I would like to go to some classes with Lynne, I said “yes” and am so glad I did. I have learned so many new things like making the right food choices and why, what good and bad foods are, how to eat the things I enjoy but change the ingredients, like I now make my toasted sandwiches with baby spinach leaves, I use mashed kumara, I use grated carrot and lots of other yummy foods. I learned what is healthy for my body, brain and blood so I can grow up strong and fit. Lynne has told me I can still have my pizza, which I love, but I have to plan to fit in my exercises or power walk the next day. I have been shown how to power walk properly it was really hard at first, I have to use my stomach muscles (core) and push up off my heels, after the first time I was so tired and I had sore bottom and stomach muscles the next day but it went away. I have got way better at it now and don’t get stiff or sore anymore, I just have to remember to do the breathing that Lynne taught me so I can keep going. I am also learning how to do sit ups and stretches properly the exercises we are told to do at school hurt my back lots, but Lynne has shown me much better exercises that don’t hurt and I can really feel the stretches in my legs. I would rather do Lynne’s exercises they are much better for me and I will grow up doing them properly without hurting my back. I have been shown how to exercise when I am sitting at my desk, because my feet hang down they get sore and tired and my back hurts. Lynne has shown me how to roll my feet and push my legs in the right places, which I haven’t been shown before and since I have been doing this at school it is much better. I was really surprised when Lynne told me that the way I was carrying my school bag was pushing my spine and stomach out of place and my back used to arch and bend with my bag, now that she has shown me how to carry my bag right and how to use my core for balance this doesn’t happen anymore. Thanks to Lynne I no longer feel I have to hide my tummy as it is getting flatter and firmer because of the exercises she is doing with me and also the change in my food choices. My confidence is growing and I am no longer shy around people. I love my classes with Lynne I am learning so much about my body and how to look after it and why. I pack my own clothes ready to go on a Tuesday and Thursday because I really look forward to it and don’t like missing my classes with Lynne she is fun, bubbly and very motivating and she listens to me. I think I am very lucky to be doing this and wish other girls my age would be able to do it also, it is very important information that we don’t get taught anywhere else. Madisyn Small
Wonderful motivator!
I really enjoyed the Makeup and Confidence Course with Lynne Scott recently. The knowledge I gained out of this was totally amazing. As I want to be a beautician when I leave school, I feel this gave me a good grounding to start looking forward to my career next year.
The dress styling was very impressive which I didn’t realise makes such an impact on fashion. Colours that are perfect for different seasons can make or break your profile look, it begins to make so much sense now. I always thought EziBuy was for the mature generation, but I was pleasantly surprised and love to look at their new ranges now. Eating is an important part of this subject too and not forgetting hairstyling. I tend to just go with my everyday hair-do, but now I experiment quite a bit. This applies to my makeup and gives me so much more confidence in my appearance of dress styling.
As exercise is an important part of this course and is linked to our bodies like a necklace with the focus areas mentioned above. I have always felt strongly about exercise as a drama student and a dancer from the age of 3 years. I enjoy Lynne’s Body Tonic group which is not high impact but has less strain on my body. Lynne’s Body Tonic training helps to tone my body and creates far more strength than I could have imagined. Lynne encourages me to use more moves and helps strengthen my weaker points that not even my dance teachers over the years have ever picked on. She has such a good eye for detail and a wonderful motivator for me and my confidence.
I would recommend Lynne Scott for any of her courses and training that I have mentioned above, she is outstanding in her field, she really does know her stuff.
Thank you again.

I now know how to look good and feel good about myself!
I am 14 years old, my name is Lilly. I did Lynne’s make-up, dress style and building self-confidence course, with my friend Keira. It was fun and enjoyable. Her high level of expertise, along with her talent on fashion and make-up, created a fun, educational course that taught me everything I needed to know about looking good and feeling good. There was never a dull moment, it was an amazing experience, she taught us how to put make-up on, what make-up suited our skin types and taught us about body types and the clothes that would suit us. We also learned about healthy eating and the reasons why we should drink lots of water and eat well. We had plenty of lucky draws and won fantastic prizes, I won a hat, bag, jewellery and lots of make-up. I now know how to look good and feel good about myself, it was amazing! Lilly Nyberg
I love my classes with Lynne
I am a 20 year old female working for a large NZ company. I came to know Lynne by attending her body tonic classes every Tuesday and Thursday at Torbay, which I found out about through the local newsletter. The course I attended covered self-image, skin care, personal presentation (hair style, dress code and make up) along with health and fitness. I found that Lynne was really good at explaining how women should perceive themselves and was very open to questions. She was very enthusiastic and caring to a point where I felt that I could share some experiences that I have had working in the work force as a women regarding self-image. The information that was given to all participants in the form of a manual was well set out and very in depth. I found the tips on hair style and nails very helpful as I need to look professional in my work place. Lynne’s course reassured me that I need to make sure that I dress appropriately for the occasion and had plenty of tips on how to do this. Lynne’s practical approach towards the make-up tutorial was very helpful. I found out about a product that I didn’t know about called kryolan and how to apply it to the eye. Lynne also demonstrated how to do two different styles of make-up. All the information that Lynne provided on make-up has been very helpful to me as it has boosted my confidence in using make-up. Fitness is a very important part of being healthy and happy. The course highlighted the importance of exercise and a good diet to keep yourself well and able to cope with stress. Lynne was good at showing us how to move correctly and use the correct muscles when doing stretches. Overall the course gave me the knowledge that I needed to develop myself image and have more confidence in myself and my well-being. I continue to discuss with Lynne my personal development and appreciate her honest opinions. Yours Faithfully, Katrina Richardson
