Lynne Scott is a body-mind enthusiast, with strong leadership and creative skills. She is fun but firm, dedicated and concerned, that you receive the right message about your body, to ensure your health and safety. How you feel and engage with her is important.

Lynne is challenging and upbeat, with the ability to design and implement many different body movements, so that you achieve the desired effects of overall wellness. She is inspirational, as well as understanding of people’s needs.

Her exercises and services are designed for men and women of all different ages and levels. Lynne ensures everyone is taken care of and given personal tips. She also has the ‘knack’ of reaching the individual when addressing groups, encouraging by nature, making each individual feel comfortable.
Lynne is humble and powerful in her own right, supporting others in the process of personal development.

  • Obesity – Poor health, an overwhelming lack of nutritional knowledge, a plethora of unhealthy food choices and a perception that eating healthy is difficult.
  • Poor physical levels of well-being and people being inactive, including poor physical levels due to diseases such as cancer, heart disease, high blood pressure, women’s pelvic floor & core problems. Falls and ongoing injury pain and strains.
  • Generic, commercialized gyms. These advertise a healthy lifestyle, but lack attention to individual needs, especially the elderly and don’t offer a solution to overall – holistic well-being.
  • Increasing sedentary lifestyle, lack of motivation and knowledge, correction needed consistently for certain medical concerns, that are ever changing.
  • Depression, caused through hormonal changes, unemployment, poor physical and mental health, including stress, pressure, anxiety and high levels of stress in the workplace, all leading to further downward spirals, in some cases suicide, especially our youth.
  • Injuries and illness, both old and new, which are addressed initially, but not followed through long term by people in their own personal capacity, which will increase wellness. People lose enthusiasm to travel to specialists, don’t know how to move the right way or ‘tweak’ an exercise or are financially experiencing hardship.

History of How tHE bODY tONIC gROUP Came to be

Lynne Scott focusses on wellness and fitness, having grown the business into what it is today, with The Body Tonic Group, showing clients how to connect on the three planes of the body, on a mental, emotional and physical level. Her journey started out many years ago, working as a fitness trainer and aerobics instructor for Health and Raquet Club and Virgin Active, leading her to start large and small group training at community centres doing exercise classes, running her own small business.

Lynne found that when a person became physically strong, the automatic response was to eat well, and feel mentally stronger and more motivated, with greater discipline. Exercise was enjoyed the more a person grew in strength and flexibility.

Therefore through this, Lynne’s history and knowledge gleaned from over 25 years of experience, led her to where she is today, with The Body Tonic Group, training individuals and groups, to help people improve for better daily living and good mental health, through her specific exercises and specialist movements.

Lynne has held managerial roles, being involved with public speaking and corporate training. 
She has written and devised workshops for large, medium and small enterprises, taking groups of staff and individuals, through workshops on stress-relieving exercises.


In addition to writing her own books and training manuals, doing fitness training for over 25 years, she is a true professional, who is gifted.
